About Zayed Military Hospital
Zayed Military Hospital is part of Zayed Military City and is located in Al Shahama area northeast of Abu Dhabi in UAE. It is a newly constructed 260-bed hospital with ICUs (Immediate Care Unit), Burn ICUs, Cardiac Care Units and medical surgical beds as well as pediatric beds. It also has 300 total beds with psychiatric units in separate buildings.
The Zayed Military Hospital campus spans 121,000 square meters on 56 acres of land. It has an ambulatory care facility and housing for hospital staff and doctors, an ambulatory care unit and 1,500 parking spaces for staff, patients, visitors, and hospital guests. Because of the large scale of this project, there is another phase planned that will convert single bedrooms into double-sized ones for expansion purposes and increase their bed capacities to 500 beds per night.
